Job Summary

We are seeking a WordPress Developer to join our Marketing team in Abuja. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining marketing-focused WordPress websites, landing pages, and microsites to support our campaigns, SEO, and lead generation efforts. You will collaborate closely with designers, content creators, and automation specialists to create seamless digital experiences and ensure strong online presence and conversion.

Key Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience developing and managing WordPress websites.

  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, and Bootstrap.

  • Experience with WordPress page builders (Elementor, WPBakery, etc.).

  • Ability to integrate forms, popups, and plugins for email capture and CRM lead routing.

  • Solid understanding of on-page SEO, site architecture, and content optimization.

  • Familiar with Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and basic A/B testing tools.

  • Experience with WooCommerce or other eCommerce plugins is a plus.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

  • Based in Abuja or willing to relocate with hybrid availability.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and manage company websites and landing pages using WordPress.

  • Customize themes and plugins to meet marketing goals and branding requirements.

  • Ensure websites are responsive, fast, secure, and SEO-optimized.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement tracking, analytics, and A/B testing features.

  • Create campaign-specific pages that integrate with tools like Marketo, Mailchimp, or HubSpot.

  • Manage web hosting, C-Panel, FTP, SSL certificates, and site backups.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs quickly.

  • Monitor site performance and implement improvements for speed and UX.

  • Ensure accessibility and compatibility across browsers and devices.
