Sales Recruitment and Marketplace Intern

Data2Bots, an IT Consulting Company is seeking a qualified sales recruitment and marketplace Intern who is eager to grow their career in sales and business development. The sales recruitment intern will work closely with the Business Development unit to expand and manage our presence across freelance and corporate gig platforms. You will be responsible for securing high-value, project-based remote opportunities for our tech talents on platforms such as Upwork, Toptal, Malt, Worksome, etc

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration or related field.

  • Must have completed the NYSC program.

  • Resides in Abuja and is available to work in a Hybrid setting.

  • 3–5 years’ experience managing freelance or remote work accounts on platforms such as Upwork, Toptal, or similar.

  • Excellent written communication and attention to detail for crafting proposals and managing client communication.

  • Strong understanding of freelance marketplaces’ dynamics, bidding processes, and success factors.

  • Familiarity with developer skillsets, technologies, and technical terminology.

  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple platforms and gig opportunities simultaneously.

  • Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain compelling and optimized profiles for developers on freelance platforms like Upwork, Malt, Worksome, and Toptal.

  • Proactively search, identify, and apply for relevant freelance and project-based tech roles.

  • Collaborate closely with developers to craft winning proposals, cover letters, and bids tailored to each opportunity.

  • Monitor and manage platform ratings, client feedback, and account metrics to continuously improve our profile standing.

  • Maintain a calendar of active gigs, follow-up communications, and deadlines to ensure timely applications and responses.

  • Track performance across multiple freelance marketplaces and optimize efforts based on success rates and client engagement.
