Admin/IT Support Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Admin/IT Support Specialist to support day-to-day administrative operations and ensure smooth functioning of IT systems across the organization. This position is ideal for someone who would be responsible for providing daily support operations of our company’s administrative procedures.  You will supervise the implementation and maintenance of our company’s computing needs and ensure that all support activities are carried on efficiently.
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or related field

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in admin, IT support, or a similar hybrid role

  • Basic understanding of operating systems (Windows/Mac), Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace

  • Familiarity with common workplace tools (Google workspace, Slack, VPNs, Antivirus software)

  • Good organization, time management, and communication skills

  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems

  • Expertise in data centre management, data governance and systems security

  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation

  • Proficiency in IT helpdesk and resolving software, such as Jira, Odoo etc.

Administrative Support:

  • Manage office supplies, equipment inventory, and vendor coordination

  • Maintain and update internal documentation, files, and records (digital & physical)

  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues

  • Manage user accounts, email, shared drives, and basic network troubleshooting

  • Assist with software installations, updates, and security compliance checks

  • Liaise with external IT vendors and escalate advanced tech issues when needed

  • Align IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals

  • Evaluate risk, developing network recovery and backup processes

  • Testing, troubleshooting and adjusting information systems to operate effectively

  • Implement security of the network, data and its storage and communication systems

  • Manage information technology and computer systems

  • Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and data operations

  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures

  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems

  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy

  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time for software applications

  • Preserve assets, information security and control structures

  • Perform planning and coordination of administrative procedures and systems
